Using the front end geometry the Ford engineers applied to the Mustang II, Heidt's developed a crossmember to enable street rodders everywhere to enjoy a modern front suspension. That's why there are no changes in critical front end geometry that can lead to hazards like bump steer. Heidt's Mustang II kits fit the frames easily and yield a 3"-4" suspension drop. Kits are available in deluxe versions which have all of the welds fully ground, or economy versions that are sold as welded.
